The campground offers a great location that's just a short walk from downtown Queenstown and the gondola, which is a huge plus. However, the cramped tent sites can be a downside, as we struggled for space when everything was set up. Our experience was also impacted by the behavior of the nighttime management, which was quite off-putting. Overall, while the view and location were fantastic, the crampedness and management style left a lot to be desired.
Rooms
5.0
As I stayed in a powered site, I didn't experience the motel units, but I found the setup inadequate for my needs.
Service
5.0
The service from the nighttime managers was quite abrupt, and I felt their method of addressing noise was overly harsh.
Location
9.0
Being so close to downtown and the gondola made it really convenient for exploring Queenstown on foot.
Dining
Facilities

While the location is ideal, the bathroom facilities lacked organization and were quite inconvenient due to the renovation situation.

I stayed here recently and found that the location is a big plus, just a short walk to town, although the hill can be quite steep. The room we had was spacious and warm, perfect for our little group, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired with its old-fashioned setup and inconsistent shower pressure. Overall, it was decent for a couple of nights, but there are certainly areas that could use improvement.
Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and warm, featuring a double bed and a bunk, which was great for our needs as a group. However, the bathroom could definitely use an update.
Service
6.0
Service was okay, but we did have to wait a while on the phone when making our booking, which was a bit frustrating.
Location
8.0
The hotel is within walking distance to town, although be prepared for the steep hill on the way back. It's conveniently located close to everything we needed.
Dining
Facilities

While the facilities are basic, the unit was generally tidy, but the bathroom situation felt quite inconvenient, especially with it being under construction.

My experience at this hotel was quite frustrating. While the location in Queenstown is decent and there's a good kitchen, the service left much to be desired. I faced a major issue with activity bookings that ruined part of my vacation, and the room itself was just average. The facilities could use some improvements, particularly in the kitchen setup. Overall, this place felt like a money grab.
Rooms
6.0
The room was adequate for my family of four, but nothing special.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking, especially when problems arose with activity bookings.
Location

The hotel is situated in Queenstown, which has its pros but felt overly commercialized for my tastes.

I had a decent stay at this camper park in Queenstown. The location is fantastic as it's just a short walk into town, which is a big plus. The facilities were clean and modern, although I found the pitches to be quite tight, making it less comfortable than I hoped. While the price was good for being so central, the overall atmosphere felt a bit clinical and impersonal.

The location is outstanding, just a 10-minute walk into the heart of Queenstown, although the uphill return can be a bit taxing.

The facilities were clean and modern with plenty of showers and toilets, but the close quarters made it feel more like a parking lot.

I had a mixed experience at the holiday park. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from town, but the facilities were lacking, especially during a busy weekend. The cabin was decent, but I was disappointed with the cleanliness in some common areas. Overall, it offered good value for the location, but some improvements are definitely needed.
Rooms
6.0
We stayed in a cabin that, while acceptable, had the bed in the main living space which wasn't the most practical for our stay. It was clean but quite basic with just a table and a fridge. I would rate it a 6 out of 10.
Service
8.0
The reception staff were helpful, particularly Briony, who really went out of her way to assist us with booking activities. I would give the service an 8 out of 10.
Location
9.0
The location was great; just a few hundred metres from the center of Queenstown, but it was uphill on the way back. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
The facilities could definitely use some improvement. There was hardly any fridge space for campers, and the shared kitchen was crowded. I'd rate them a 5 out of 10.
